Ramona joined MCA Manitoba as Executive Director in 2017. Through her tenure with MCAM she has set the bar high in advancing the association's Strategic Plan. Over the past 20 years she has served as a strategic leader through elected, appointed, volunteer and employment roles in the fields of Public Education, Child Protection, Vulnerable People, Healthcare, Housing and Construction. With an Advanced Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Manitoba, Ramona has a keen understanding of cause vs correlation relationships and a demonstrated skill as a critical thinker. She gained essential knowledge of the Mechanical Contracting Industry while supporting her husband in his career as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager within the Industrial vertical infrastructure sector. Ramona believes in the good intention of people and the importance of pursuing difficult conversations. Through these beliefs she enjoys the political arena and embraces change. Ramona has strengthened the voice of the Industry within the community. Her number one joy in life are her children and late husband. Ramona and Cal committed to raising their children to persevere, be led by strong moral compasses, and to be kind. Their family has a comical approach to life; #dobetter.

Alyssa Jonasson

Alyssa joined MCAM in 2022, bringing with her a well-rounded background in event management, communications, and marketing. While completing her diploma in Business Administration at Red River College, she launched a wedding planning that sparked her passion for creating memorable experiences.

Following graduation, she transitioned into the non-profit sector as an Event Coordinator, successfully managing a diverse portfolio of events including galas, golf tournaments, and street festivals. When the pandemic shifted the events landscape, Alyssa expanded her expertise into social media and communications, leveraging her marketing diploma to support digital engagement and strategic content creation.

At MCAM, Alyssa's favourite event to plan is the President's Ball. Outside the office, she enjoys hot yoga, painting, and playing on an ultimate frisbee team.

Morgan Jachetta

Morgan Jachetta is a versatile professional with a diverse background across education, non-profit work, and business development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg, majoring in English with minors in French and Linguistics. Morgan has a strong interest in language and communication and is fluent in both American Sign Language (ASL) and French.

Morgan also holds a TESL Certification from the University of Winnipeg, specializing in teaching adults. With over seven years of experience, Morgan has developed a well-rounded skill set through her work across various sectors. In her previous role as Business Development and Partner Relations Specialist at the University of Winnipeg, Morgan successfully managed key local and international partnerships, developed innovative business strategies, and contributed to the growth and success of the program.

Outside of her professional life, Morgan enjoys yoga, walking her two dogs, Tucker and Ripley, cooking, and attending movies. She looks forward to applying her skills and positive energy in her role as the Workforce Development Coordinator at MCAM.
